PARISH – The New York State Public High School Athletic Association recognized many teams for academic excellence at the end of the winter sport season, the girls’ basketball and volleyball teams from Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District as well as APW’s shared boys’ ice hockey team with Pulaski Academy and Central School being a few.

To earn the recognition of a scholar athlete team, the team’s total grade point average divided by the number of students must be a 90% or above.
The volleyball team’s average was 93.05, the basketball team’s average was a 91.36 and the hockey team’s average was 93.09.
APW Varsity Volleyball team members are Lacy Saucier, Emma Gutchess, Mariah Johst, Allayna Frank, Megan Ruffos, Ellen Parker, Alyssa Priest, Anna DeHart, Allie Rice, McKenzie Mattison, Jenna Brockett and Peyton Nadeau, coached by Kaitlyn Harrington.

APW Lady Rebel team members are Maryanne Lazore, Sydney Jones, Kayla Thompson, Bobbi-Ann Hoffman, Andrea Priest, Devin Jones, Deshae Jones, Karigan Shawcross and Sophia Lembo, coached by Kareem Jones.
APW members of the shared boys’ ice hockey team are Devon Ackley, Brandon Ackley, Joe Karboski and Brianna Karboski, coached by Justin Keegan.
