Recently, ARC of Oswego County took 39 individuals with disabilities on a two-night camping trip at Vanderkamp Center in Cleveland.
The group enjoyed hiking, canoeing, and even playing poker when rain curtailed their outdoor activities. On their return, they were treated to a hot dog cookout, courtesy of the Fulton Rotary Club.
The Rotary Club also donated $500 as “camping scholarships,” allowing 5 individuals who could not otherwise afford the fees to experience the trip.
