OSWEGO, NY — SUNY Oswego students from the area served as interns in a variety of on-campus positions in fall 2018, providing a strong on-the-job learning experience to amplify their coursework.
The Center for Experiential Learning at Oswego places students in internships and career awareness opportunities that allow them to earn college credits while garnering valuable life experience.
During the last year, more than a thousand Oswego students took part in experiential learning while working at hundreds of businesses, nonprofit agencies and government offices and on campus in dozens of departments and programs — not counting the hundreds of student teachers working in area schools.

Mary M. Buske of County Route 6 in Oswego, a senior human resource management major, interned with SUNY Oswego Career Services
Carlie S. Evans of West Second Street in Oswego, a senior American studies major, interned with SUNY Oswego Career Services
Devin M. Higgins of Franklin Avenue in Oswego, a senior business administration major, interned with SUNY Oswego Human Resources
Katherine E. Knopp of Health Camp Road in Oswego, a senior wellness management major, interned with SUNY Oswego Admissions Office
Tyler M. Stever of County Route 35 in Fulton, a senior applied mathematics major, interned with SUNY Oswego’s VOTE Oswego
Elizabeth Westcott of Lakeview Road in Oswego, a senior business administration major, interned with SUNY Oswego’s Artswego
Admission to SUNY Oswego is competitive.
