OSWEGO – The Church of the Resurrection, the Episcopal church at West Fifth and Cayuga streets in Oswego, will hold three services on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14 — at 7 a.m., noon and 5:30 p.m.

The Rev. Anne Wichelns, priest-in-charge at the church, will lead the 7 a.m. service of imposition of ashes.

This brief service is intended for people before their work or school day begins.

“It’s a simple Ash Wednesday liturgy and does not include Eucharist,” she said.

Father Jeffrey Knox will be the celebrant at the noontime service, which will include both imposition of ashes and Eucharist.

The 5:30 p.m. will be the same, with Pastor Bruce Schrader serving as celebrant. Knox and Schrader are retired clergy at the Church of the Resurrection.

For more information, call the church Monday to Thursday mornings at 315-343-5301 or visit resoswego.org.
