Assemblyman Barclay Attends Veterans Day at the Gardens

OSWEGO – A Veterans’ Day ceremony was held at The Gardens assisted living facility in Oswego.

The Sea Cadets from the Truxtun Division did color guard for the event.

The event was to honor the veterans that live at the facility.

The event was attended by Assemblyman Will Barclay who spoke briefly and then handed out NY State Medal of Merit awards to qualifying veterans.

The veterans all received Challenge Coins presented to them by the owner Joe Murabito and director Paula Whitehouse.

The Truxtun DDG-103 unit is always welcoming interested recruits to join its unit.
