OSWEGO, NY – New York State Assemblyman Will Barclay and staff recognized “Wear Purple Day” by wearing purple in honor of all of the survivors of domestic violence, and to raise awareness and say NO MORE.

Barclay noted that bills that he supported in the Assembly as part of the Women’s Equality Act were recently signed into law.
“We’re pleased that Assemblyman Barclay joined us in recognizing “Wear Purple Day” and appreciate the work he has done to raise awareness of, and support our efforts to address, domestic violence in Oswego County,” said Sara Gozzi, educator / trainer with Oswego County Opportunities Services to Aid Families program.
