Ballroom Dance Class At The Fulton Family YMCA

The Fulton Family YMCA is pleased to offer an opportunity for area residents to learn ballroom dance under the guidance of two instructors well-known for their expertise. Dennis and Laverne DeLand use clear and repetitive motion with verbal description to help participants feel comfortable attempting a variety of dance styles. They are adept at watching the progress of the class and knowing when to move ahead with new steps.

The Y has hosted this popular class with the DeLands, in the past, and any former participants are invited to “brush-up” their skills. New students, 16 years of age and older, are welcome to take part. The class will last 5 weeks, beginning Monday, September 8, at the Y. It is not necessary to come with a partner. Pre-registration is suggested, sign-up at the Y at 715 West Broadway, Fulton, or to inquire call the Y at 598-9622.
