Barclay Commemorates Oswego County Bicentennial with Assembly Resolution

OSWEGO – Assemblyman Will Barclay recently presented the Oswego County Legislature with an Assembly resolution in commemoration of the county’s bicentennial year.

In March 1816, Oswego County was formed through an act of the State Legislature.

The resolution honors the county’s rich history including the important role the county played in the anti-slavery movement and later in providing refuge to holocaust survivors during World War II.
