Barclay Honors New Haven Couple’s 65th Wedding Anniversary

NEW HAVEN, NY – Assemblyman Will Barclay recently presented an official Assembly resolution to Mr. and Mrs. George Jerrett in honor of the couple’s 65th wedding anniversary.
“I am pleased to honor Mr. and Mrs. Jerrett with an official Assembly Resolution. They are a testament of devotion, to each other and to their family. It is my pleasure to recognize their milestone together,” said Barclay.
The resolution reads “George and Wilma Jerrett were united in marriage on June 20, 1948, in Oswego, NY; they are the proud parents of four children, Larry, Tom, Ted and Susan.”
Barclay visited the family’s home recently to present the resolution after it passed the Assembly as Assembly Resolution No. 459.
