FULTON, NY – Assemblyman Will Barclay helped host educators visiting from Russia through the International Center of Syracuse recently.
The visitors are part of the center’s mission to serve as a cultural exchange agency between the people of the U.S. and people of other countries.
They are part of the Open World Program, which enables young Eurasian elected officials and civic leaders to visit the U.S. and experience its culture firsthand.
Assemblyman Bob Oaks, second from left, and Barclay, third from left, are pictured among the visitors.
Ruth Ragonese, executive director of the International Center, is pictured in the front row on the left.
The group visited Cayuga Community College’s Fulton Campus and SUNY Oswego.
