Bigfoot Comes To Fulton

FULTON – “The only thing more rare than a bigfoot sighting,” says 114 Reserve co-owner Mikaela Tubolino, “is an event this sensational!” Tublino is referring to the upcoming BIGfest 2026, a Bigfoot-themed festival to be hosted at local coffee hotspot 114 Reserve. “BIGfest celebrates the mystery of the Sasquatch with speakers, vendors, a stage play, and even improv comedy,” says organizer Brad Gibson. Gibson is a college professor of wildlife ecology and environmental topics, and has studied Bigfoot’s existence for decades. “Bigfoot exists,” he continues, “and at BIGfest, we’re going to prove it once and for all. There will be so many top researchers presenting hard evidence, the only expert on the matter we weren’t able to book was Bigfoot himself.” The complete list of Speakers includes: Tracy A. DeCann (founder of the Oswego Paranormal Research Society), Derek Markle (independent researcher), Brad Gibson (wildlife ecologist), The Vogel Brothers (of the famed Cobble Mountain Critter Project), and Todd Smith (the Genesee Bigfoot Project). SUNY Oswego’s comedy troupe Oswego’s Own Improv will perform a comedic set inspired by the elusive cryptic, and the evening will be capped off with an original play by award-winning playwright Shy Sims titled “I Found Bigfoot and All I Got Was This Lousy Shirt.” Doors open 1pm on April 18th at 114 Reserve, with BIGfest officially starting at 2pm. It is recommended you arrive early to view all the skilled craftwork of the many Sasquatch-themed vendors and select your seat for the main festivities. “And please order our special Bigfoot-themed latte!!” adds Tublino, “because like the creature itself, custom drinks this good are hard to find!”
