The Oswego City Fire Department and Oswego City Police Department will be hosting a free bicycle safety event for families on June 6 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Eastside Fire Station.

Bring a bike if you have one.
If not, there will be bikes to borrow.
Two brand new bicycles from Murdock’s, donated by the Oswego Speedway and Chris Nelson Insurance, will be raffled off.
A bike rodeo course will be set up for kids to ride through and practice their bike safety skills, with Murdock’s supplying bike mechanic skills to look at your bike before you go on the course.
There will be helmets donated by the Oswego City Firefighters’ Association, Lake City Police Club and the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.
Race cars will be on display, Move Along will be doing a demonstration as will the Oswego Karate studio.
It will be a free evening for all and will be held rain or shine.
