Book Drive Appreciated

OSWEGO, NY – I want to thank the many community members who graciously donated to the Children’s Book Drive for Success By 6 that was recently hosted by the Wal-Mart store in Granby.

The books collected during the drive will be distributed through the Success By 6 program to encourage literacy and introduce children to the joys of reading.

I would also like to thank the more than 40 Wal-Mart employees who donated their time to the book drive.

Thanks to the generosity of our community and the volunteers from the Wal-Mart Granby store that helped to collect and deliver the books, many children throughout Oswego County will be able to enjoy the pleasure of reading a book they can all their own.

Thank you to everyone who helped support Wal-Mart’s Children’s Book Dive for Success By 6.
