This bicentennial one-act play was researched and written by Rick Sivers and is part of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the construction of the Erie and Oswego canals.

The story is based on characters that lived in Oswego in the 1830s, a time when the Erie and Oswego canals played an important role in the development of America as people migrated west.

Admission is free and geared towards families of all ages.

Gates open at 7 p.m.

Bring your own lawn chair for seating.

No pets please.

Refreshments will be available.

Parking is available at the Flexo site and by the USCG Station.

The rain date is set for Saturday, August 19.

This event is produced by York Productions and sponsored by the city of Oswego, H. Lee White Maritime Museum, New York State Canal Corporation, PathFinder Bank, the Lake City Elks Lodge and the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor.
