Carol Burghart Wins First Prize in Sterling Festival

OSWEGO – Carol Burghart’s painting, Lovely Shade under the Canopy of Trees, won first prize in the watercolor category at the recent Sterling Art Show.
Her painting, depicting a tranquil forest scene with towering trees and lush foliage, was displayed in the Fair Haven Art Center for the contest.
She is a long-time member of the Lakeside Artisans in Oswego where her original paintings and prints are available.
The Lakeside Artisan’s Canal Commons shop at 191 W. First St. is open Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 a.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
