Carol Burnett Show Celebrates 50th Anniversary At The Arts Center

FULTON, NY – The Arts Center celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Carol Burnett show with a full evening of favorite comedy sketches from the popular show.

Auditions are being held at the Arts Center Theatre on the Cayuga College Campus June 17 from 1-5 p.m. and June 19 from 6-9 p.m.

The production will run September 8-17.

Auditioners will need to prepare a one- to two-minute monologue and expect to read from the script.

Named in 2007 by TIME magazine as one of “100 Best Television Shows of All Time,” The Carol Burnett Show ran for 11 years, averaged 30 million viewers per week.

It received 25 Emmy Awards, making it one of the most honored shows in television history.

Carol Burnett, award-winning actress and best-selling author, is widely recognized by the public and her peers for her work on stage and screen that have made her one of the most beloved performers in entertainment and one of the most admired women in America.
