Catholic Charities To Offer Workshop For Parents Of Young Children

FULTON, NY – The Parent Education Program at Catholic Charities of Oswego County will offer a workshop series that will prove to be very beneficial to parents of children ages 1 through 4.

Entitled 1,2,3,4 Parents!, The workshop is video-based, interactive learning experience that teaches the fundamental attitudes and skills necessary for parents of young children.

Topics covered during the four-week workshop include:

• Why your child acts like he does

• How to keep your child safe

• How to bond with your child

• Why taking care of yourself is important

• How you can discipline your young child

Parents and caregivers of children ages 1 through 4 are encouraged to attend this workshop that is free and open to the public.

The workshop will be held on three consecutive Wednesdays beginning June 16 and continuing through June 30.

All sessions will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at Catholic Charities of Oswego County, 365 W. First St.

Parent educator Stacie Roberts will facilitate the workshop.
