Celebrate National Trails Day at Rice Creek Field Station June 6

OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Healthy Miles Coalition and the Rural Health Network of Oswego County partner to host a walking event on Saturday, June 6 in celebration of National Trails Day. The walk begins at 10 a.m. at Rice Creek Field Station, located on Thompson Road in Oswego.

Rice Creek Field Station has nearly five miles of nature trails to explore, including a trail approved by the Oswego County Healthy Miles Coalition. Trails approved by the organization have been verified as accessible for all ages, strengths and capabilities.

The Oswego County Healthy Miles Coalition is a subcommittee of the Rural Health Network of Oswego County, which operates under Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) and aims to support partnerships and planning that contribute to a healthy and thriving population in Oswego County.
