OSWEGO, NY – Members of Boy Scout Troop 888 and Cub Scout Pack 888 celebrated the birth of scouting or ‘Scout Sunday’ by attending St. Mary’s in Oswego on Feb. 5 at the 10:45 a.m. Mass.

They took part in the processional into the church served as flag bearers and ushered the family bearing the gifts.
Several other services were scheduled on various dates in February at Churches throughout the city.
Just one way for Scouts to live up to our pledge of ‘duty to God.’
Boy Scouting has been around now for more than 100 years and is non-denominational.
Troop 888 meets at Riley School on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Pack 888 meets on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.
