PULASKI – The Pulaski Historical Society will hold the next in this year’s series of Brown Bag Lunches on July 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The meeting is free and open to the public.

You are invited to bring your lunch (or pick up some take-out at a local eatery) and come join us in the Carriage House at the Pulaski Historical Society.

Take time to talk with your coworkers and neighbors and perhaps make new friends.

Coffee, tea or water will be provided.

We will also be selling chicken vegetable soup, a cup for $1 or a bowl for $2.

For our July Brown Bag Lunch, Kate Connell, president of the Pulaski/Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce, will give us news and updates on the activities of the chamber.

Also during the month of July, the museum has several special exhibits on display. “School Memories” and early telephone-related memorabilia will be in the Carriage House.

The Pulaski Historical Society is located at 3428 Maple Ave., across from Mavis Tire/Cole Muffler in the village.

The museum is open in July and August from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Come for free guided tours.

Volunteers are also available to help with research and questions at the regular work sessions on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.

For more information, call the museum at 315-298-4650, e-mail [email protected] or visit www.pulaskihistoricalsociety.org for a calendar of events, volunteer opportunities, services available and more.
