PARISH – Cheerful sounds filled the auditorium at the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Junior High School Winter Concert.

The band, directed by Janet Fiacco, played “Three English Carols” by John Edmonson, “Jingle Bell Rock” by Frank D. Cofield and “Chanukah Folk Song” by Nicholas Forte.
The chorus, directed by MaryAnn Clarke-House, sang “Winter Canon” by Andy Beck, “Come, Follow the Star” by Mary Donnelly and “On Silver-Tipped Wings” by Mark Patterson.
Several students who have learned American Sign Language also signed for “Santa Clause is Coming to Town” by J. Coots and H. Gillespie and “Winter Wonderland” by F. Bernard and R. Smith.
The district thanked the APW Music Department, the ASL instructors (Andrea Holier and Kathryn Fathers), administration, the board of education, the custodial staff, the A.V. Club and all family and friends for supporting the young musicians.
