OSWEGO – April was child abuse prevention month.

In recognition of that the Child Care & Development Council, a division of Integrated Community Planning of Oswego County, Inc., collaborated with Happy Hearts Child Care Center to plant a pinwheel garden with the help of its director, Robin Walker.
Children enrolled at the center participated in the planting.
The pinwheels, provided by Prevent Child Abuse New York, can be seen in gardens that have popped up throughout Oswego County and the state to raise awareness.
The pinwheel campaign, which involves engaging communities to ensure that children can thrive aligns with ICP’s mission to support and improve the quality of life for youth and families in Oswego County
