Lanigan Elementary School students have been on a roll with responsibility, problem-solving and respectfulness, among other character traits throughout the month of June.
For their efforts, several honorees were recognized during a recent school assembly where they received a certificate, applause and cheers.
On a roll awardees are: Sebastian Warthen, Evan Prusinowski, Ian Daniels, James Keib, Brady Wagner, Connor Connolly, Adrianna Bulla, Sydney Osborne, Kaleb Bartlett, Keonna Holmes, Mylah Dempsey, Leilenn Backes, Keighlen Patriak, Allie Demott, Logan Wilcox, Isabella Winterhalt, Bailey LeVea, Piper Mead and Anna-Marie Clew.
Also honored were several students who exhibited citizenship, as they have proven to be informed, responsible and caring participants in their school and community.
Lanigan’s June role model awards were given to the following students: Rebekah May, Maddy Sands, Charlie Chen, Geena Abbott, Colin Moon, Nicholas Schneider, Kyler Haggerty, Robert Briggs, Elijah Halstead, Isabella Perkins, Caitlin Scout, Isreilla Towle, Allison Mainville, Angus McClave, Noah Richards, Kiley Pudney, Olivia Hendrickson, Owen Tice, Colby Weaver, Madalyn LaBeef, Lana Champion, Greyson Strong, Claire Briggs, Rowam Backenstross and Avery Evans. Additional outstanding citizens include: Kylie Stevens, Gabriella Rodriguez, Ava Bartholomew, Zachery Regan, Elliott Dumouchel, Aubrey Bush, Dominic Collins, Eli Maxam, Kaleb Rupert, Tucker Smith, Elias Saba, Jr., Harlow Cole, Amia Kolb-Kee, Henry Becker, Margaret Sorbello, Giada Raponi and Grace Schremp.
Special education teacher Julie Galvin and Nichole Slocum also helped recognize Lanigan staff members who go above and beyond each day to serve as shining examples of what it means to be a good school citizen. As examples of working cooperatively for the betterment of the 6:1:1 classroom, Galvin said the following staff members have created a positive learning environment for students: David Cronk, Kim Eckhard, Julie King and Michele Gilbert.
