COCOAA’s First Responsible Server Training A Success

OSWEGO, NY – The County of Oswego Council on Alcoholism and Addictions held its first Responsible Server Training event at Oswego Moose Lodge on October 14. The training included 10 members total from local establishments, he Raven, Sticks Sports bar & Motel and the Moose Lodge.

The outcome of the event was a success.

RST is designed to teach individuals who sell and serve alcoholic beverages how to do so safely.

The participants of RST were educated on the effects of alcohol on the consumer and the various laws associated with selling and serving.

Attendees were also taught how to correctly document incidents and check IDs.

The next RST will be held on November 17 from noon to 3 p.m.
