Comets Capture Gold at NYSSMA Festival

The Sandy Creek Central School High School Concert Band under the direction of Thomas Artini was awarded a “Gold Medal With Distinction” at the NYSSMA Major Organizations Festival In Fulton.
This rating is awarded to organizations that demonstrate an outstanding level of technical and artistic skill in a performance deemed exceptional.
The High School Concert Band has received a Gold Medal in three out of the last four years.
This is the second time the Concert Band has achieved a “Gold Medal With Distinction.”
