NEW HAVEN – The Oswego County Comets (Motorcycle) Riding Club invites you to attend the sixth annual Bug Run to benefit the Wilcox Mosquito Foundation.

The foundation was formerly known as The MSGW Foundation, Inc.; a 501c3 not-for-profit corporation organized after the tragic death of five-year-old Maggie Wilcox of New Haven, who died in August of 2011 from the deadly Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus.
The Oswego County Comets is a historically long-standing, civic-minded group of motorcycle enthusiasts with two things shared in common; a great love of the open road and a great sense of community.
The Wilcox Mosquito Foundation’s mission is to secure the funding necessary for the research and development of a human vaccine for EEE, while promoting awareness and the methods by which those you love can be protected from falling victim to the virus.
This year’s Bug Run will be held on June 10 at the Home of the Comets’, Hazzy’s Tavern, in New Haven.
Event registration begins at 10 a.m. with kickstands up at noon for a motorcycle ride to include lunch at the turn.
The cost per driver is $20 and $15 per rider, which includes lunch and a full pulled pork dinner upon return to Hazzy’s from the awareness ride.
If you’d like to ride but do not wish to have lunch or dinner, the cost is $10.
Even if you do not ride, please join us for the Bug Run, as The Comets are offering silent auction/live auction and 50/50s throughout the day.
Come and help The Oswego County Comets, RC in the search for the cure for Eastern Equine Encephalitis!
