FULTON, NY – Resource Development Director for the United Way of Greater Oswego County, Lois Luber has announced that the major sponsors are in place and plans are under way for the United Way’s 15th annual Golf Classic.

“Constellation Energy Nuclear Group Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station and Entergy have signed on as major plus sponsors for our Golf Classic. Additional major sponsors are National Grid and Novelis Corporation. We are pleased to have the support of these fine companies and are looking forward to another fun day of golf as their participation will ensure that this year’s Golf Classic will be the best ever,†said Luber.
Scheduled for July 9 at the Greenview Country Club in West Monroe, the classic is one of the largest golf tournaments in Oswego County and provides businesses and individuals with the opportunity to enjoy a fun day of golf and while helping to support their United Way.
“We are very grateful that Constellation Energy Nuclear Group, Entergy, National Grid, and Novelis have decided to take such an active role in this year’s Golf Classic. Their continued support of the United Way demonstrates their care and concern for their community and for the many people who depend on the programs that the United Way supports,†added Luber.
