Oswego County BOCES Cosmetology student Kaitlin Nicholson, a senior from Pulaski High School, was more than willing to help her principal, Jay Altobello, when she offered to dye Middle School Principal Jean Lynch’s hair pink, in her BOCES classroom, to settle a wager between the two administrators.

Students at the Pulaski Middle/Senior High School collected school supplies for a down-state school district hard-hit by Hurricane Sandy and whichever school raised the most supplies, the other principal agreed to pay a cost.
For Jean Lynch, it meant pink hair. Winning Principal Jay Altobello however, being a good sport, agreed to a concession, a pink heart was sprayed onto the back of his head to show solidarity with his fellow administrator.
Upon returning to their home district, the pair went into classrooms in their building and modeled their new hairstyles.
