County Legislature Chair Endorses Benedetto

OSWEGO, NY – “Thom Benedetto is the most qualified and experienced candidate for Oswego County Family Court Judge,” said James Weatherup, chairman of Oswego County Legislature. “He has effectively worked in county government for more than 25 years and demonstrates a proven ability to work well with county agencies such as DSS and probation. As a former school board member, Thom understands the importance of involving not only our county agencies, but also school and other non-profit groups as important partners in strengthening our families and creating opportunities for kids.”
As a Family Court Referee, Benedetto has heard thousands of cases on domestic violence, custody and visitation issues and alleged child neglect and abuse.
Benedetto, the only Republican in the race, is the endorsed Oswego County Republican and Conservative candidate and he has the approval of Independence Party voters.
Republican, Conservative and Independence party voters will have the opportunity to select their choice for Family Court Judge in the June 25 primary election.
