FULTON – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Linda Eagan introduced Steve Bourgeois who is the Senior Investigator for the State Police based in Fulton.

He has been with the Police for 32 years and works with four other investigators throughout Oswego County.
Bourgeois talked about the top most investigated areas which revolve around heroin and other substance abuse and sex crimes.
The crimes and victims involve both youth and adults from all walks of life, although much is generational.
There is a heroin epidemic and the arrests and convictions for drug involvement have increased greatly in the past ten years.
The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Mimi’s in Fulton.
