On September 16, many dads, step-dads, grandfathers, uncles and other significant male caregivers brought their child to their Head Start/UPK classroom for New York State’s annual Dads Take Your Child To School Day.

They enjoyed a morning or afternoon of fun-filled activities and made the commitment to participate in their child(ren)’s education.

Oswego County Opportunities Head Start/UPK program firmly believes that a father/significant male who actively participates in the educational and social life of a child is invaluable and irreplaceable.
