He had the honor of presenting Rotarian Abby Weirtzmine with a Paul Harris Fellow Award, which is an award bestowed upon worthy Rotary members.

The presentation of Paul Harris Fellow recognition is The Rotary Foundation’s way of expressing its appreciation for a substantial contribution to its humanitarian and educational programs.

It is named after Paul Harris, a Chicago lawyer who started Rotary International with three business associates in 1905.

The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Mimi’s in Fulton.
