Rory Heywood, a, member of Boy Scout Troop 114, working towards his Eagle Badge, for his Eagle Scout Project, made up and posted new trail name signs, for Great Bear Springs Recreation Area.
Some trails had older worn signs and some newer trails had no signs.Over twenty signs were made, to allow posting at each end of a trail and at trail junctions.
Signs were made from natural cedar wood, with trail names routed and painted on the boards.

Rory, along with members of his scout troop, hiking the trails, put up the new trail signs.
Much appreciation Is given to Rory for his work and effort making the signs and organizing a group to put up the new trail signs.
Great Bear Springs is a 450 acre non motorized use, wooded recreational area, with over seven miles of trails. The signs Rory made will be much appreciated by all.
