Egan, an administrator in the Fulton City School since 1978, is currently president of the Oswego Industries, Inc., board of directors; member of the Operation of Oswego County board of directors, president of the Literacy Coalition of Oswego County; and a founding member, past president and current secretary of the Weston T. Hyde Oswego County Educational Foundation.

In presenting the award, past and incoming Rotary President Jerry Seguin noted Egan’s work wouldn’t have been possible without the support of his wife, Merry, and he asked Merry to pin the foundation pin on her husband.
