MEXICO – The Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation recently held its Dental Assisting graduation ceremony, where eight students were honored for successfully completing the program.

By showing a high level of dedication and perseverance over the course of the 690-hour program, students Megan Bennett, Sabrina Conklin, Desiree Denny, Alondra Esparza, Carrie Hammond, Jasmine Maldonado, Kristen Stock and Kendra Valley all successfully navigated their way to graduation.
Assistant Superintendent for Personnel Mark LaFountain provided opening remarks for the ceremony and congratulated the students for showing great proficiency in the classroom and within their clinical procedures.
LaFountain also discussed his appreciation for the comradery the class displayed each and every day.
“You have demonstrated spirit and comradery within your class,” said LaFountain. “I would recommend that you take this with you wherever you work.”
District Superintendent Christopher Todd congratulated not only the students for displaying perseverance and sacrifice, but also their families for showing the support necessary for each student to succeed.
Following a heartwarming message from instructor Adele Haskins, each student was presented with their pins and diplomas, officially marking their completion of the course.
The ceremony concluded with each student recited the Dental Assistant’s Pledge, which acknowledges that they’ll do everything in their power to practice their profession faithfully.
