FULTON, NY – Emily Bradshaw, a 12-year-old seventh grade student from Oswego spoke to the Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club recently about her crusade to have a homeless shelter in the area.
She has been involved in fundraisers and awareness meetings with both state and local agencies in an effort to support the homeless.
She is currently working on making 300 personal care bags for the homeless.

The homeless include adults, families and even students she attends school with.
Anyone wishing to make donations for her care bags can deliver items to the Oswego Middle School or call 342-3164 for pickup.
“Emily’s Mission” also has a collection area at the Fulton Library.
Pictured with Emily is Rotarian Diane Cooper-Currier.
The Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Fulton’s Riverside Inn.
