Who doesn’t look forward to receiving a special gift during the holidays? And the residents of St. Luke Health Services in Oswego are certainly no exception.
Thanks to a tradition of generosity by the employees of Constellation Energy Nuclear Group’s Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, each resident will be sure to find something waiting for them under their Christmas tree this year!

Every holiday season for the past thirteen years CENG employees, through their “Giving Tree” Program, collect and donate hundreds of Christmas gifts for residents at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego. St. Luke gathers “wishes” from residents which are in turn shared with CENG employees, found on Christmas trees located in the various facilities on site.
Employees select a St. Luke resident Christmas “wish” from trees and then take the time and energy to set about fulfilling those wishes.
“Presents from the “Giving Tree” program are an important part of holiday celebrations here at St. Luke and our sincerest thanks go out to all the employees of CENG who remain incredibly generous to our residents,” said Greg Osetek, Director of Community Relations at St. Luke.
“The caring and consideration shown by the employees at CENG towards our residents here at St. Luke is remarkable,” said Nicole Greenier, St. Luke Volunteer Coordinator. “Gifts collected and donated by CENG employees as part of this program range from the large to the small, depending on the wishes of each resident. This initiative by our neighbors at CENG demonstrates the best of what the holiday season represents in our community.”
