EMT Classes Scheduled at the Oswego Fire Department

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Fire Department is offering EMS education classes this fall.

Both EMT – Original and EMT – Critical Care Technician courses are scheduled to begin in late August.

Fall 2015 EMT[1]

Registration is now open for both courses and slots are filling up.

The EMT – Original Course is scheduled for August 24, 2015 – January 21, 2016 on Monday and Wednesdays from 6 – 10 p.m. at the Oswego Fire Department Headquarters.

Occasional Saturday classes are also scheduled.

The lead instructor of this course is OFD paramedic Carl Emmons.

CC Course[2]

The EMT – Critical Care Technician is scheduled for August 25, 2015 – August 18, 2016 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 – 10 p.m. at the Oswego Fire Department Headquarters.

Classes will also be held on some Saturdays as well.

The lead instructor of this course is OFD paramedic David Engle.

The Oswego Fire Department also teaches CPR / AED, and first aid courses on request.
