OSWEGO COUNTY – Get into the holiday spirit with festive events across Oswego County! From tree lightings to themed performances, there’s family fun for all this weekend, Dec. 5-7.

Head to the Art Scene at the CNY Arts Center, 121 Cayuga St., Fulton, now through Dec. 7 for “’Dis the Season!” about four estranged sisters once known as “The Christmas Thornes.” A famous singing group. Don’t miss The Oswego Players’ production of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.” Shows run Dec. 5-7 and 12-14. Celebrate Christmas in Mexico with a variety of activities on Saturday, Dec. 6! All day, local organizations host activities throughout the village, including a holiday bazaar, farmers’ market, horse-drawn carriage rides, museum tours, live music, a Christmas parade and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus! The Art Scene at CNY Arts Center in Fulton also hosts a Santa’s elf workshop on Saturday, Dec. 6! From 1 to 3 p.m., kids can earn their elf name by helping Santa in his toy workshop while learning motor skills. Food and drink will be available to purchase.
The City of Fulton hosts a tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 6 at Veterans’ Park, across from the Fulton Municipal Building, 141 S. First St. Presented by the Special Events Committee, the event runs from 4 to 6 p.m. with carriage rides, vendors, live performances, a visit from Santa, a parade of lights, fireworks and more!
