First grade students at Fairgrieve Elementary School celebrated reading in style with their favorite “best buddy” at the annual Teddy Bear Picnic.

The event was a well-deserved reward for their hard work in school this year.

Students celebrated in style with their favorite stuffed animal.

Library media specialist Barb Senecal coordinated the annual picnic as a reward for the students.
