Jayce Gibides exhibits perfect form during the sack race with a “twist” at the Fairgrieve Elementary School Annual Game Day. Participants raced in their sack on the course to a hoop several yards away dropped the sack and hula hooped for three twirls before continuing the sack race back to the starting line.

You can’t spray me! Fairgrieve Art Teacher Diane Wavle manned the hose during the Fairgrieve Game Day obstacle course where students maneuvered through a course that included jumping over a rope, around a cone and into a hoop all while evading the water spray.

Ooohhh that’s cold! Jayda Padua’s expression says it all as she hands the water bottle off to next in line, Autumn Taylor, who in turn passes it to Madison King. Molly Williams turns to look at Jayda after her turn with the refreshing shower during Fairgrieve’s Game Day. With temperatures in the 80s and bright sunshine, the outdoor games and activities all added up to a great da,y especially when you add a little cool water. The object of the game was to pass the water bottle backwards overhead and keep as much water in the bottle as possible before emptying it into a container at the end of the row, but for these students, it was all about the cool down.
