Nearly two dozen Fairgrieve Elementary School students were recognized with physical education awards during a Morning Express ceremony on Monday.

The awards honored students who demonstrated respect, responsibility, safety and problem solving in physical education classes.
Each student received a certificate honoring them for their success in meeting the behavioral expectations.
Physical education teachers Corry Zion and Kevin Ahern joined Principal Jean Ciesla in celebrating the students’ accomplishments.
The award-winners were Matisyn Brockway, Carleigh Patterson, Moira Percival, Joseph Cortini, Jayce Wornick, Gianna Tucker, William Duso, Olivia Nesbitt, Abigail Hinman, Danielle LaPierre, Jessica Herlowski, Izabella Bogardus, Alexander Crisafulli, Braeden DuPoint, Robert Matthews, Ronde Wood, Andru Walts, Rebecca Bailey, Braeci Clonch, Lauren Goss and Alexa Halstead.
