It was a numbers explosion at Fairley Elementary School this week as the school celebrated its 100th day of school with an entire day devoted to having fun while counting and learning.

“We are 100 days smarter today,” said teacher Rhonda Koskowski, as she led a Fairley first grade tradition of 10 sets of 10 (100 total) exercises.
Students hopped, clapped, raised their arms and ran in place as a class while counting upward toward the day’s magic number.
Each student also assembled a collage of 100 items, including Froot Loops cereal, cotton balls or petals on a rose tree.
