Hannibal’s Fairley Elementary School held an open house the second week of school.

The event was well attended by students and their parents and caregivers.
Students toured the school with their families, introducing them to their teachers and showing them where they sit in class.
While many of the students have been at Fairley for years, others recently walked the halls for the first time.
Pre-school student Kieshamarie Vogelsang showed her little brother toys from the play kitchen while her mother chatted with teacher Mrs. Musa.

Parents were also able to interact with their children’s bus drivers, who made themselves available in the cafeteria.
Community and family engagement surveys were also available to take in the schools computer lab.
Parents were asked to answer a series of questions about their child’s education.
Survey data is being collected district wide, and will be available again at the Kenney Middle School and Hannibal High School open house and welcome back BBQ on Sept. 26.
Surveys will also be available on the district’s website at www.HannibalCSD.org
