The anticipation of Christmas was almost too much to bear for children at Fairley Elementary School during their annual sing-along.

Students from kindergarten to fourth grade sang songs accompanied by their teachers in the gymnasium.
A crowd favorite was “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”
At the front of the audience a dozen students, with posters depicting each of the days and the gifts given, held up their signs at the appropriate time.
Music teacher Pamela Giovannetti gave direction to the students chosen for the song.
Other favorites included “Frosty the Snowman,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”
The reading of The Night Before Christmas was done by Principal Joseph Musa, who also wished students a safe holiday season.
The sing-along concluded with students turning to each other and saying ‘Merry Christmas.’
