[1]Fairley Elementary School in Hannibal welcomed students back for the 2009-2010 school year.
Students met their new friends and teachers and learned about the school rules. They boarded a bus to learn safety and proper behavior and practiced walking in the hallways.
Comparing indoor and outdoor voices helped children understand how much fun they can have on the playground and still be safe.
To finish up, students went to the cafeteria to try some sweet, fresh pears that were picked by the Whitcomb family and generously donated by Eugene Hafner.
