Fifth, Sixth Grade Students Perform In Spring Concert

Emerson J. Dillon Middle School students recently showed off their musical talents at the spring concert/
It featured the fifth grade band, sixth grade band, and the combined fifth and sixth grade chorus.
Students performed in front of a packed auditorium at John C. Birdlebough High School.
The fifth grade band performed first, directed by Joanna Young.
The sixth grade band followed, directed by Kim Gould.
The night concluded with the fifth and sixth grade chorus, under the direction of Alicia Caron.
Several students from each group were recognized for previously performing a NYSSMA solo or duet.
All three directors noted that the groups had made tremendous progress throughout the school year and added that they are looking forward to next year.
