OSWEGO, NY – Nathaniel Ahart, son of Carolyn Ahart of Oswego, was recently accepted into the internationally recognized Syracuse Children’s Chorus.
Nathaniel auditioned for the prestigious choral group with the German song “Heidenroslein†by Franz Schubert.
The student practiced with Garrett Heater, his music teacher at Fitzhugh Park School.
The adjudicators, including Dr. Barbara M. Tagg, the choir’s founder, were very impressed with Nathaniel’s abilities and he was placed in the Kantorei choir.
SCC has performed throughout the world including Carnegie Hall, Disney World, and China.
So Nathaniel has a global, song-filled experience to look forward to!
