FULTON, N.Y. – For the fourth straight year, Fulton churches and community organizations will host a Community Thanksgiving Dinner at State Street United Methodist Church. The free dinner at State Street United Methodist Church, 357 State Street, will serve meals between noon and 3:00 p.m.
An organizing committee consisting of representatives of the Salvation Army and several Fulton churches is busy planning the dinner. According to Muriel Allerton, fundraising chair for the event, the group is looking to the generosity of businesses and residents alike to provide food and other resources for the event. “Community support has been very important to our success,†Allerton explained. “Once again, Plainville Turkey Farm is among those helping to provide a delicious meal.
Volunteers interested in helping with dinner preparations or serving on Thanksgiving Day should call (315) 592-5162.
