The Fulton Lions Club recently added a used eyeglasses and hearing aids drop box at Fulton Wal-Mart. The drop box, a converted mailbox, was repainted as a public service by Dwayne Arnold, owner of Oswego Falls Body & Paint, Fulton. Lions Nick DeGelorm and Charles McIntyre coordinated the project. Lion Steve Bero, left, thanks Wal-Mart Assistant Manager Geoff Raponi for providing space for the box in the Optical Department, while Kathy Wallace of Baldwinsville deposits eyeglasses. Fulton Lions also have a drop box at Waby Opticians, 312 Division St., Fulton. In 2008-09, the Fulton Lions club donated nearly $9,000 in eye exams and eyeglasses to residents of Fulton. For more information on Fulton Lions, contact President Dave Guyer at 598-4329, or visit www.fultonlionsclub.org.
